Dr. David Spellberg attended Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. During that time, he presented and published numerous papers at both national and international Urological conferences. After moving with his family to Naples Florida and establishing his practice, he proceeded to become active with the Collier county Medical Society and the Florida Medical Association, becoming President of the Collier county medical society in 2002, and being a delegate to the FMA meetings for many years. He has received many awards and honors for his achievements in local health care and community service, most recently Physician of the year from the Florida Association of Physician Assistants.

Originally from New Zealand,Dr. Vorstman completed his training in urology there.He then went on to the University of Miami for his chief residency year and from there to the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk where he completed a prestigious Fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Reconstructive Urology. Here he was also awarded an NIH research grant for original work in urinary bladder reinnervation studies and on completion of this research he was awarded a Masters in Surgery diploma. Subsequently, he received an invitation to join the urology faculty at the University Of Miami and brought his innovative research there. Eventually,Dr. Vorstman chose a career in private practice and now focuses on minimally invasive surgical techniques.
