Following his residency, he was recruited by Commonwealth Urology, the largest Urology group in Kentucky. Within 8 months, Dr. Woolums became the most productive member of the Lexington-based practice by completing minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgeries in Urologic oncology, stones disease and female urology.

  • Female Urology including pelvic floor reconstruction and treatments for stress incontinence.
  • Minimally invasive surgical techniques including laparoscopic and percutaneous endoscopic procedures
  • Treatment of Urologic malignancies related to prostrate, kidney and bladder cancer. Treatments include radioactive seed implantation for prostrate cancer and laparoscopic renal surgery
  • Incontinence therapy including Urodynamics testing, percutanous nerve evaluation and Sacral nerve implantation for urge incontinence
