Misonix Purhases Patents from ProRythm
Misonix, which was also known as Heat Systems Ultrasonics several years back, has recently purchased three patents that are associated with the use of HIFU, or high intensity focused ultrasound. HIFU transducer rays, lenses, and applicator were part of the purchase agreement. Misonix has a worldwide license agreement with Focus Surgery for HIFU as it relates to kidney, breast, and liver applications using high intensity focused ultrasound..
